Well, close enough. The Brown House hotel sat in the lot due west of the old Huggins Hardware (currently Hell 'n Blazes Brewing Company) and east of the railroad tracks right on New Have Avenue at the intersection with Depot Dr. Legend has it was one of the more...how shall we put it? Enlivened? Yes, more enlivened options for hospitality in early Melbourne. Modified over the years, it existed from 1895 (just after Henry Flagler's railroad arrived in June 1893) until 1960.
